TELL US A TAD ABOUT YOURSELF AND YOUR COMPANY.

I am a Certified Wedding Planner through The Bridal Society. I have received a certificate of completion from The New York Institute of Arts and Design in Wedding and Event planning in June 2017. I also have received an Associate Degree in Graphic Arts and Imaging Technology in June of 2004.

I am a devoted wife and the mother to two wonderful teenagers. I love crafting, singing, reading, and shopping in my spare time.

Exquisite Events Wedding and Event Planning specializes in wedding day management formerly known as day of coordination and we offer partial and full wedding planning services. We serve Goldsboro, Greenville, New Bern, Raleigh and surrounding Eastern NC counties.

HOW DID YOU GET INVOLVED WITH EVENT/WEDDING PLANNING?

I got started in the wedding industry because I saw a need in my home town of Lenoir County. I was planning my own wedding and couldn't find a wedding industry professional to coordinate my own special day. So while in the middle of planning my very own wedding I enrolled in The New York Institute of Arts and Design for wedding and event planning.

WHAT DO YOU LIKE MOST ABOUT YOUR JOB? 

What I love most about my job is helping people and making their ideas come to pass. I love being able to be creative and seeing the looks on the our clients faces when we produce exactly what they have visions for their special day and event.

WHAT TYPE OF EVENTS DO YOU USUALLY PLAN?

We usually plan weddings however we also plan other lifetime events such as bridal showers, baby showers, milestone birthday parties, anniversary parties, vow renewals, and more.

ARE THERE ANY TRENDS THAT YOU ABSOLUTELY LOVE OR WOULD LOVE TO SEE CLIENTS LEAVE BEHIND?

We are absolutely in love with the with the sequin bridesmaid dresses. I love anything with sparkle.

HOW DO YOU USE SOCIAL MEDIA FOR YOUR EVENT PLANNING BUSINESS OR FOR ATTRACTING CUSTOMERS?

We use our social media by posting educational content to help potential clients, our portfolio of work we’ve done, as well as testimonials from previous clients so customers get a feel of the level and quality of service we will provide.
